Coreform LLC, developer of next-generation computer-aided engineering software, has released the latest version of its meshing software, Coreform Cubit.

Coreform has released a new version of Coreform Cubit with some improvements and user experience enhancements. The new version, Coreform Cubit 2023.4, is available on the Coreform website.

“We focused on providing an improved user experience with this release,” says Matt Sederberg, chief strategy officer at Coreform. “We have always provided best-in-class meshing capabilities, and we are working hard to keep up with our users’ needs.”

The release focuses on increased interoperability, improved user experience and feature polish. Some improvements include a Python update that means users are no longer tied to the version of Python that ships with Coreform Cubit. Users now can import Coreform Cubit into any version of Python from 3.7 and higher.

The ACIS kernel in Coreform Cubit has been upgraded to ACIS 2023. This new version contains bug fixes, improved error reporting and also offers updates to the Coreform Cubit data translators. Users will find improvements to interoperability with Abaqus and LS-Dyna, as well as improved documentation and feature enhancements.

“We hope our users will find that these changes improve their workflow and increase their productivity,” says Greg Vernon, Coreform’s director of Engineering.
