Synopsys introduces Simpleware Release W-2024.12, which brings enhanced user control over automation and efficiency. Integrate your artificial intelligence segmentation models through NVIDIA MONAI Bundles or useopen-source models like TotalSegmentator. Boost efficiency and streamline your workflow by customizing the Simpleware ribbon user interface, the company notes.

New ‘External AI Models’

Nvidia MONAI Bundles

  • Import and run externally trained AI segmentation models using MONAI Bundles
  • From the MONAI Model Zoo or user-trained

TotalSegmentator

  • Run the open-source AI models from TotalSegmentator for full-body segmentation
  • Access either CT or MRI models

New GUI Profiles Customization

  • Full customization of the Simpleware ribbon user interface to increase efficiencies
  • “Power users” can simplify the software for users working within set workflows

New Dataset Morphing

  • Morph masks, surfaces, volume meshes and points between project files or 4D time frames
  • Propagate segmentation or custom landmarks

Additional New Features and Product Updates

  • FE/CFD Meshing: new option to more strictly enforce the smallest element edge length
  • X-ray Positioning: new and improved interactive widgets for positioning x-rays with a CT scan
  • Auto Segmentation – Ankle CT: improved retrained model for increased accuracy and difficult cases
  • Customized AI and Auto Segmentation Tools processing speed-ups

Key Benefits

  • Scale up patient-specific workflows faster using AI tools
  • Focus on innovation by minimizing manual segmentation tasks
  • Improve collaboration and expedite training across multiple teams
  • Deploy better simulation models with enhanced meshing capabilities
