ESTECO, provider of design optimization and simulation data management solutions, announces the agenda for the 2024 ESTECO International Users' Meeting, set to take place in Trieste, Italy, June 4-6. This biennial event gathers experts from different industries, showcasing the latest advancements and trends in digital engineering and state-of-the-art applications of VOLTA and modeFRONTIER.

The meeting serves as a platform for knowledge exchange among users of ESTECO solutions. It’s also the place to delve into the latest and future developments in ESTECO Technology. This year's event will feature inspiring guest speakers and internal specialists, ESTECO reports.

“The theme of our 2024 International Users' Meeting is Delivering digital continuity,” explains Carlo Poloni, president of ESTECO. “We believe that end-to-end process automation, from simulation workflows to high-level business decisions, is key for effective digital engineering. At ESTECO, we’re committed to delivering this continuity through our solutions, and this is reflected in many of this year's presentations.”

The list of keynote speakers confirms a variety of applications of VOLTA and modeFRONTIER spanning different industries.

From the automotive industry, Yoshio Fujita from Toyota Motor Corp. will describe how they used VOLTA to create a user-friendly computer-aided engineering (CAE) process in vehicle development.  JLR’s Tayeb Zeguer will present a case study on 1-dimensional frontal crash modeling and illustrate how modeFRONTIER software and artificial intelligence are essential for agile vehicle development.

On the aerospace and defense front, Romain Ricciardi will share how CT Ingénierie deploys its optimization methodology using the VOLTA SPDM platform in a space rocket design consortium.

It’s not a rocket, but the AC75 yacht Luna Rossa flies all the same: Martin Jacoby and Simone Bartesaghi will share how they used modeFRONTIER for aero-hydro computational fluid dynamics optimization to compete in the 37th America’s cup. Lastly, Uyiosa Abusomwan from Eaton Corp., addresses a question: can we unlock a new level of innovation in engineering by exploring biomimicry and nature’s intelligent design process?

The speakers lineup is completed by computer-aided engineering (CAE) experts from Leonardo, Fincantieri, Ford Motor Co., IVECO, MBDA Italia, Volvo Autonomous Solutions, Mazda Motor Company, Pipistrel, Daiwa House, LIST, BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, Politecnico di Torino and the Universities of Trieste, Ghent and Genoa.

Attendees can also expect to hear from ESTECO product managers and technology experts, covering product updates and prospects for the future, and research and development efforts.

On June 6, after the conference at Savoia Excelsior Palace in the heart of Trieste, attendees will also have the opportunity to visit ESTECO’s premises and take part in workshops with hands-on experiences and practical insights.
