3D Printing Showcased at Art Exhibition Ultraromanticismo

In the art display, two customized and generative masks “Collagene” were manufactured by CRP Technology using 3D printing in Windform LX 3.0 Glass fiber filled composite material.

For the fourth section of the art exhibition dedicated to the museums and historical and architectural treasures of the province of Modena, two customized and generative masks “Collagene” by MHOX will be displayed. They were manufactured by CRP Technology using professional 3D printing in Windform LX 3.0 Glass fiber filled composite material

When technology meets the art world: CRP Technology is taking part in Ultraromanticismo. Il post umano, tra inquietudini e abbandono, the exhibition, displays the works of 50 contemporary artists from different art fields (painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, ceramics) in different museums, historical and architectural “treasures” of the province of Modena, Italy.

The project is an example of a territorial network with the scope to promote the contemporary artistic research and enhance the places devoted to culture and sacre, according to CRP Technology.

The fourth section of the exhibition will display two “Collagene” masks by MHOX (Alessandro Zomparelli and Filippo Nassetti). They are customized and generative objects manufactured by CRP Technology in composite material Windform LX 3.0 Glass fiber reinforced, using selective laser sintering (3D printing powder bed fusion process with composite polymers fibers-reinforced).

“We are glad to take part along with MHOX – comments Engineer Franco Cevolini, CEO and Technical Director CRP Technology - first of all, because it is an exhibition deeply rooted in Modena territories, which between the end of the 1700s and throughout the 1800s has experienced a period of strong cultural development through Arts and Archeology, and we are very keen on our “technological identity Made in Modena” which we export all over the world, and which the whole world envies us. “

“... the 'Collagene' masks represent something innovative: a new concept of everyday objects—personalization—combined to a highly technological manufacturing technology with high quality and high-performance material: our Windform LX 3.0,” says Engineer Franco Cevolini, CEO and Technical Director, CRP Technology.

Windform LX 3.0 is part of the Windform TOP-LINE family of composite materials created by CRP Technology and used in industrial sectors such as aerospace and defense, automotive, motorsport, robotics and design to create functional prototypes and small batches.
