The upcoming Conference on Advancing Analysis & Simulation in Engineering (CAASE20) will include more than 200 presentations and training sessions from leading experts on simulation. The three-day virtual event, which will be held June 16-18, will also be free to NAFEMS members.
CAASE20, co-presented by NAFEMS Americas and Digital Engineering, was originally planned as an in-person event in Indianapolis. When it was announced that the conference would shift from a live to a virtual event, it was still unclear how the content would be affected. Event organizers were able to rapidly pivot the event to a virtual platform, and while some details are still being finalized, CAASE20 is on track to be one of the largest virtual simulation conferences to date.
You can see a preliminary conference agenda here, and a list of training courses here.
The conference will also feature keynote sessions from Dr. Maria Klawe, president of Harvey Mudd College; Monica Schnitger, president and principal analyst at Schnitger Corp.; and Bill Pappas, vice president of competition and engineering at IndyCar; among others.
